Salary: £6.50 p/h

Shackleford based electronics company requires a Temp Stores / Stock Room Assistant for maternity cover.

Reporting to Production Manager the role will include receiving deliveries, stock taking, picking and packing and arranging UK shipments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Goods in and despatch of UK shipments.
• Picking and issuing of stock for internal and external orders.
• Day to Day auditing of Stock to ensure minimum 98% accuracy at all time.
• Running of daily reports to ensure zero stock outages.

Skills Required

Essential:

• Proven experience in a similar stores role.
• Good MS Outlook, Word & Excel skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually with the minimum of supervision.
• Basic engineering knowledge
• Good time management
• Understanding of KANBAN stock control

Desirable

• Knowledge of SAGE 1000 inventory control system.
• Electronics qualification.

Job Title:                Technical Services Account Representative (TSAR)

Function:               A commissioned sales position, selling a range of technical services to existing customers.

Reports to:            Head of International Sales

Role Overview

The Technical Services Account Representative (TSAR) is responsible for the direct sale and promotion of Vocality’s Technical Services offering to our existing customer base. 

The TSAR will be commissioned on selling Vocality’s suite of Technical Services, which include annual service contracts – software and hardware, training courses and adhoc onsite support.               

The TSAR will contact customers via telephone and email, with the exception of strategic and major customers where the TSAR will liaise with the Account Manager and agree the approach for these customers. 

Key Responsibilities

Initial sales of technical services will be sold by the sales department with new hardware sales.  Once equipment has become due for a Service Package or warranty refresh, the Technical Services Sales person then takes responsibility for managing the account’s service management.

Within the same territory as the Head of International Sales (ie. Europe, Africa through to Asia Pacific), the TSAR will:-

• To promote and sell training courses (ranging from £500 to £1500 per person).
• To assist Technical Services in the management of training courses (preparation of certificates, or assisting attendees with directions or logistics).

Tools to be used in the day to day activity include:

• Sage 1000 (moving to Sage ERPv3)
• Sage CRM
• Quotewerks
• Excel/Word/Outlook
• WebEx

Dimensions

For customers with no service package, warranty or service packages coming up for renewal, this person will be the single individual who will be responsible for promoting and selling services to the customer. Therefore, this individual needs a strong understanding of opex and general budget cycles and how these principles can be accounted for and applied to equipment owner’s ongoing operational budget.

The position will be targeted and after a 6 month period of “ramping up” in this new role, there will be an income expectation.
