The Black End of a V50plus

V50plus

V50plus continues Vocality International's strong tradition in space saving multiplexers and routers.

The V50plus delivers high performance TCP/IP bridge routing as well as Vocality's popular satellite optimised multiplexing capability. On this platform, users can create their own multiplexer configuration, depending upon their application.

Like it's smaller brother, the V25, the V50plus offers two serial ports operating up to 5Mbps. These can operate as both link and tributary data ports. Each end offers a single data port, so users could use one end as aggregates and one as tributaries as is traditional with the V25 - if they so wish.

Empty V50plus Units - Black and Silver Ends
Also like the V25, the V50plus offers 2 Ethernet ports - one at each end of the device. These ports support bridging, routing and VoIP (Bandwidth Optimised SIP). DHCP server and relay, RIP and PEP (TCP Acceleration) functionality are also available to the user if required.

Expansion

The V50plus comes with two option slot bays which can house option modules from the continually expanding range of common modules.

V50plus - like all Vocality's current product range - offers VoIP (Satellite Optimised SIP) support, delivering bandwidth efficient support for SIP-based IP telephony - either using a V50plus as a gateway to a SIP telephone switch, or for the delivery of SIP-based phone services into the field.

Additional services such as PEP (TCP Acceleration) and SNMP support are also available and, like VoIP (Bandwidth Optimised SIP), are activated by use of a user-loaded Feature Key.
