Push Config Launched

For users seeking to field deploy Vocality units, but wishing to simplify the whole configuration process, Vocality have launched a new functionality called "Push Config" - a plug and play configuration capability, which allows units to be shipped to a remote site and installed, without any need to configure the device.

Simply put, Vocality field deployable units such as the V25, V50plus and V150 now ship with Push Config enabled by default. The Push Config capability resides at the central V200 unit, where the configurations of field units are stored. When an authorised field unit connects into the V200, the configuration of the device is pushed into the field unit for the duration of that session. Once the session is clear, the link drops or the power drops, the configuration is wiped.

This functionality, when deployed in a large network, can reduce the amount of training and support needed to deploy units into the field - a requirement of many Vocality users who have field operators requiring skills in many areas already, such as broadcasters or soldiers.
