Since the mid 90s, Vocality serviced the off shore platforms in the North Sea, with the extension of essential services for ISDN-based video conferencing for telemedicine. Since then, the diversity of applications serviced by Vocality's solutions has grown considerable. It starts with the Satellite Simulator 3, which is used extensively in petrochemical organisations for the validation of telemetry applications, such as pipeline monitoring.

The solutions then extend to the bandwidth limited emergency communications voice and IP solutions, used to deploy comms along the pipeline on land, through to the delivery of a full, complex suite of analogue and digital voice, data, IP, ISDN and VoIP services with devices such as the V150 or V200. In addition, the recently added BASICS Radio Relay sees application within the push to talk area, with works in the field able to extend the reach of their PTT system over satellite or line of sight radio, or using BASICS Radio Relay to bridge different PTT radio networks together.
