V200

V200 offers the completely powerful, large network solution - delivering voice and data into large, mission critical networks - capable of connecting large sites, or many of Vocality's smaller units such as the V25, V50plus or V150.

V200 is a chassis based concept - a unit with 10 option slots which can be loaded with a wide range (and quite unrestricted) combination of option cards to deliver a range of point to point, or multi-point network connections. Of these 10 options slots, the 1st slot must be loaded with a High Speed CPU Card, whilst the 10th slot must be loaded with a PSU (Power Supply) Card. Further option cards can then be mounted into the chassis to create the tributary and aggregate portfolio needed to deliver your network.

All option cards offer some degree of redundancy abilities, ensuring the V200 can be relied upon in the most demanding of applications. By loading the 9th slot with a second PSU Card, the unit can achieve power redundancy. It's no wonder that such a large number of V200 units are chosen for military and mission critical applications.

With the High Speed CPU Card offering integrated routing over gigabit Ethernet ports, and inbuilt high performance PEP (TCP Acceleration) abilities, the V200 can be used as a high specification inter-site TCP/IP routing solution. Through the addition of voice/fax and serial data cards, this functionality can be augmented to allow users to extend extremely high numbers of voice and data ports from hub to multiple remote sites simultaneously.

Optional Features

Unlike other products in the range, the V200 has PEP (TCP Acceleration) functionality pre-activated, to provide acceleration of their TCP traffic over satellite. The units can also be upgraded with the addition of VoIP (Bandwidth Optimised SIP) by turning on the VoIP capability. Basic SNMP support is also available as standard.
