Satellite Optimised VoIP
Vocality has designed a satellite optimised Voice-over-IP gateway function which allows conventional POTS voice (analogue or digital) calls to interface to SIP-based VoIP networks. This allows satellite-based Vocality voice networks, which achieve maximum bandwidth efficiency and fault tolerance to connect seamlessly to terrestrial VoIP networks.
Vocality can connect POTS phones in the field to a Vocality hub, which interfaces to an IP switch, thereby connecting remote phone circuits into the corporate phone network. Alternatively our technology allows SIP VoIP telephones plugged directly into a Vocality unit, to connect to a central POTS network.
