V25 offers 2 Ethernet ports - one at each end of the device. These ports support bridging, routing and VoIP (Bandwidth Optimised SIP). DHCP server and relay, RIP and PEP (TCP Acceleration) functionality are also available to the user if required. As a bridge/router, the V25 offers users with a comprehensive network platform for the extension of network functionality into the field. Services provided over the V25 include:

Tributary Ports
The V25 offers a fixed hardware configuration, with optional Software Feature Keys unlocking additional software functionality.The V25 is available in FXS only, for field deployed applications. The unit is compatible with all other Vocality devices, so a typical network would see a V25 used in the field, with a V150 or V200 used as the hub unit - connecting multiple field deployed V25 units into the corporate LAN, PSTN or PABX and other tributary circuits.
The tributary or user circuits can all utilised the bandwidth management system built into the Vocality operating system, ensuring best available Quality of Services. The tributary services offered are:
- 2 FXS Voice Ports (2 Wire/4 Wire)
- 2 Serial Data Ports (1 Link, 1 User Data)
- 2 IP Ports (1 IP Aggregate, 1 Bridge/Router)
- Supervisor and Port
